PRICING

All the Prices are quoted in US dollars, unless otherwise stated.
ACTIVE TRAILS, reserves the right to change the prices without prior notice, in case of any prices increase beyond our control including, but not limited to, currency fluctuations or the government taxes or levies.
Suppose the prices increase by more than 1% between the time of booking and time of travel, participants reserves the right to cancel without penalty. Prices for fully paid bookings will be guaranteed except the price increase exceeds 12% in which clients may cancel without penalty.

PAYMENTS

A deposit of 25% is supposed to be paid at the time of booking with the duly filled booking form. All the payment has to be settled by cheque, money order or bank transfer to Aliane Heathsolutions Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, India.
The balance of the travel plan fees is paid 30days prior to the travel date; in case of non-payment prior to 21 days of the travel date; the booking will be canceled without further notice. The Advance deposit is non-refundable, and will be retained as cancellation fees in this case and/or otherwise in any cancellation cases.
For programs booked less than 30 days prior to the travel date, the complete program fees must be settled at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

In case of Cancellation of booking, Active Trails must be notified in writing. The cancellation date will be counted as of on the receipt of cancellation notice date.
The Advance deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation from the participant’s side.
In case of refund, any bank charges (if applicable) will be directly deducted or charged separately.

Active Trails reserves the right to change/alter/cancel the travel plan in part or whole, without prior notice with valid reasons such as weather, political climate etc… In case of cancellation of complete Travel Plan from the side of Active Trails, the entire paid amount, inclusive of advance deposit will be refunded.

If participants, misses or arrives late to a program, during the travel and workshops/classes/event etc, no refunds will be granted for the missed days or missed activities.


TRAVEL PLAN ALTERATION POLICY

In case of alteration requirement towards your travel plan, Active Trails must be notified in writing in advance. In most cases, it is possible to change or alter the travel plan subject to terms and conditions.
In every case, change/alteration is strictly subject to terms and conditions. The terms and conditions differ from case to case; therefore, prior to any change/ alteration, IT IS STRICTLY ADVISED TO ASK ACTIVE TRAILS OFFICE FOR APPLICABLE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND CONSIDER THEM PRIOR TO REQUESTING ANY CHANGES/ALTERATION TO YOUR TRAVEL PLAN. The date of the notification will be considered as the date our office receives your written notice.
No changes will be entertained during the travel period.

UNTIMELY RETURNS

No refund will take place for untimely returns. However, if you must cancel your program due to a personal emergency, please notify Active Trails in writing as soon as possible prior to your departure from the program for us to evaluate your claim. Active Trails reserves all the right to take final decision on any refunds.

18 AND UNDER STUDENTS

All students OF 18 YRS AND BELOW must submit a duly signed waiver, signed by participant and their parents with their school stamp, in case of school participations. No booking will be done without a signed waiver.

VISA & PASSPORTS/PERMITS

Mauritius requires passports to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of return. Therefore, at time of booking, participant’s passport should have remaining validity for 6 months. And all the Indian Passports must carry ECNR stamp.
For the time being, Indian Passport holders are provided entry Visas on arrival for total stay of 14 days, against the confirmed booking voucher or sponsorship certificate from a Mauritian Nationals. For more than 14 days stay, application of Visas should be made from Mauritian Embassy/Consulate in Mumbai or Delhi.

BAGGAGE POLICIES

 Airlines baggage policies are frequently being changed. Therefore, you should contact the airline directly by phone or checking their website to get the latest information.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMMINGS

We are bound by the Check In and  Check Out rules and procedures of the hotels, therefore the early Check In and/or late Check Out request must be confirmed much in advance to Active Trails. The grant of such request is based solely on respective Hotel’s decision and not of Active Trails; moreover supplement charges does apply towards extension or early check in.

DISCIPLINE AND EXPATRIATION

Active Trails cannot be held responsible in the occasion where a participant is denied entry to Mauritius and/or expatriation due to reason beyond Active Trails documentation responsibility, in such cases any cost associated with an early return or any detainment will be at the participant’s expense.
It is the participant's responsibility to maintain and respect the disciplinary action required by fellow countries.
Usage and possession of Drugs, Abusive substances, arms, and explosives is illegal and carrying or indulging in such actions is subject to life/death sentence.
Participants will be responsible of her or his luggage and conduct. Active Trails will not take responsibility for participants conduct, behavior, and personal belongings.
Active Trails reserves the right to decline to supply, to cancel, and/or terminate participation for any participants who fail to comply with the policies of our service provider; or for any other reason judged essential, in the sole discretion of Active Trails. We also reserve the right, to send back home the participants who violates the rules stated above, without escort and refund. Any extra cost will be born by the participant.

ACTIVE TRAILS RESPONSIBILITY

We undertake the responsibility of making all the necessary arrangements, booking of all the services/activities mentioned in our service vouchers. We provide confirmed booking voucher to each participants in order for them to have arrival visa at the Mauritius Airport.
All our services are strictly as per mentioned in our service vouchers, any extra and /or optional services used and/or consumption will be charged extra.
Active Trails shall be responsible for providing the services outlined in the service voucher to the participant. In case of services and accommodation outlined cannot be provided due to a reason beyond control of Active Trails, all efforts will be made to provide comparable services and accommodation. Any discrepancies against mentioned services in the voucher will be appropriately compensated by Active Trails.
We undertake the responsibility of following up of any pending merit certificates after successful completion of activity course by the participants.
Active Trails shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature whatsoever to any participants, resulting from events beyond Active Trails and/or our suppliers/service providers, reasonable control including, but not limited to following: Natural calamities, acts of God, strikes, political emergencies, wars, blockade, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.
Participants in any Active Trails Travel Plan/Event/activities waive any liability against Active Trails and its employees, for any injury, loss, damage, accident, expense, or delay caused by or related to means of transportation or lodging (including host families). The participant understands that he/she is traveling under his/her own responsibility (if a minor, the parents, or guardian assumes this responsibility) and releases Active Travels and its employees from any liability related to health and safety.
Once the completed booking form has been signed and sent to Active Trails, it means that you have read, understood, agreed, and bound by the terms and conditions applied.
