Our Affiliated Training Certification & Standard

PADI

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) is the world's largest recreational diving membership and diver training organization founded in 1966. PADI courses range from entry levels (such as Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver) to master scuba diver and a range of instructor certificates.

Today PADI issues approximately 950,000 certifications a year, of which approximately 550,000 are "entry level" certifications. Over the years since its formation PADI has become a dominating force in scuba diver training; it certifies approximately 70% of divers in the United States and approximately 55% of divers worldwide

CMAS

The Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS) is the World Underwater Federation. CMAS is the international umbrella organization for diver training organizations. It was founded in Brussels on September 28, 1958. Its courses tend to reflect full range of European and world diving standards.
Compared to other dive organizations, which may be more geared towards holiday and tropical water diving, the training philosophy of CMAS members' clubs originates from professional or military diving backgrounds; CMAS is entirely about quality education over profit, which accounts for its programs being taught worldwide in more dive schools than dive shops. While other organizations tend to bring divers into the water immediately, CMAS training is more complete and produces more knowledgeable and skilled divers

FFESSM

The Federation Française d'Etudes et de Sports Sous Marins (FFESSM) is the main diver training organization of France and was formed in 1955. It has 160,000 members and consists of 2200 clubs. It is one of the founding members of the CMAS (confédération mondiale des activités subaquatiques/world confederation of subaquatique activities)
